We’re looking for a National Sales Manager to lead our nationwide team of Robot Solutions Specialists – the passionate experts who help customers discover, experience, and enjoy our robots every day.
The role
As National Sales Manager, you’ll provide leadership, direction, and inspiration to our distributed sales team across New Zealand. You’ll work hands-on with your team to drive strong sales performance, ensure customer excellence, and support our continued growth as a trusted household name in robotics.
This is a dynamic, mobile role with a strong national presence. You’ll spend around 50 % of your time travelling to regional locations to coach and support our team, meet customers, and identify new opportunities.
What you’ll do
Lead, mentor, and support our nationwide team of Robot Solutions Specialists.
Drive sales performance and growth in line with Robomate’s national strategy.
Develop and execute regional sales plans and initiatives.
Build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Ensure consistent customer experiences and sales processes across all regions.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and support teams to align priorities.
Report regularly to leadership on results, opportunities, and market insights.
What we’re looking for
5+ years of proven experience in sales leadership.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into action.
A genuine passion for people, coaching, and performance development.
Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM tools.
Experience in technology, robotics, or capital-equipment industries (preferred).
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (around 50 % of the role).
